Each full moon we learn something new about Robert Eggers’ next horror movie: Werwulf. This full moon on September 26 Focus Features will release the second trailer. Alongside the announcement they released a short teaser where we can hear a visceral howl, which might be the scariest sounding werewolf since An American Werewolf in London.
Set in 13th Century England, the story will follow a mute peasent, who’s cursed to transfrom into a murderous werewolf on each full moon. Eggers says it’s the darkest thing he has written so far.
Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lily-Rose Depp and Willem Dafoe, the film will release 3 months from now on Christmas. What do you think of it so far?
