Produced by James Harris (Obsession) and directed by Jordan Downey (The Head Hunter) ‘The Cycle’ will star Deborah Ann Woll facing off against werewolves while uncovering the secrets of a recurring mysterious event.
“When her father’s remains are discovered at a gruesome crime scene after 36 years, a daughter is confronted with a long suppressed chapter of her family history. He had been considered missing for decades, yet a surprising discovery raises more questions than it answers. Determined to bring the truth about his disappearance to light, she begins to investigate his past.”

The film will have plenty of body horror, Stephen King praised it highly saying this one is special and “A terrific fright flick – The Thing meets The Silence of the Lambs”. The creatures were built by Magee FX, the werewolves and the transformations are both fully practical.

The movie had its premiere in Thailand theaters this week and been getting great reviews, which makes me incredibly happy, we really are having a werewolf movie renaissance, many good flicks to look forward to, some of which are very unique. In the USA it will release October 22 streaming exclusively on Shudder, in Germany the release date is November 5 and in a few countries it will even be available on physical media in December.
